 Have you been a Steelers Fan your entire life, how did you get hooked?

People don’t believe me when I tell them I’ve been a Steelerette all my life.  I was born into it both my parents are Steeler fans so that would make me part of the pure bred l0l.  My father grew up watching the Steelers so naturally when it came to me, being a daddy’s girl of course, I followed him.  I remember knowing about the Steelers and that they were the team to watch BEFORE I even knew what football was.

What is your best/favorite memory of The Pittsburgh Steelers?

My favorite memory would be when we beat the Cardinals to get our 6th ring.  JUst that entire game was epic!! And it was pretty much my first time watching a Superbowl in a bar so the energy was intense.

Who is your favorite player both past and present?

Thats a tough one, how could you pick? There are so many.  I’d say past wise Lambert is my guy.  He was and still is a beast!! Today its hard for me to choose, but I’ll go with…. THE ENTIRE TEAM!! Sorry there is no way I could pick a favorite from today’s team.
 
When you think of Steelers Football, what is the first thing that comes to mind?

Hard Hitting Smash Mouth Football.  I think of how our team is pretty much the quintessencial ideal the American people.  Blue collar, Hard working, Humble, and Amazing.
 
Obviously, you have to LOVE the Steelers to do an interview with TheSteelersBlog.com – explain your passion?

Again, I was born into it so its in my blood.  I bleed BLACK AND GOLD.  For me its not just a game its a lifestyle.  Its tradition and a legacy.  When the season ends Im still wearing my gear even in the summer time.  Im still repping my terrible towel and talking crap to other fans.  Steeler football is the ONLY thing I know when it comes to the sport.

 Liz, you’re a Steelers Video Junky – We heard your responsible for a lot of Steeler Videos?

Lol, no personally Im not at all.  BUT it was brought to my attention to several of the other Steeler fans, Sean Anthony to be one of them, that my photos were EVERYWHERE!! Lol in video montages of our Steelerettes and on fellow fans pages.  I honestly don’t mind them sharing the photos.  But it just surprised me because in the videos it was just ONE picture of me it’d be like 4 or  So yeah I guess you can say Im all over the place, but definitely not responsible for the videos.  Im honored though that other fans would use my photos in their videos.

Who is the greatest Steeler of All-Time and why?

Art “The Chief” Rooney Sr.  Hands down.  He is EVERYTHING that a Steeler should be.  Fan and Player.  He was humble, hard working, honest, and persistent in achieving what he wanted.  There is no greater Steeler then the founder of this wonderful legacy.

What do the Steelers need to do differently in 2011 to win their 7th Super Bowl?

Work on our defense and protecting Ben more.  Its a team effort.  We cant allow our lines to slack one little bit.  We got a lot of heat on our backs because of the past season but our boys cant let that get to them.  They just need to focus on one thing and thats winning.

Do you have a certain routine on gamedays for the Steelers?

Oh yes, I have to wear pretty much everything Black and Gold from jersey to shoes and accessories.  No church on FB Sundays because for me it brings bad luck.  And if im watching with a group every person from that group has to show up for a game.  It brings up our chances of winning :)

How many Steelers games have you been to in your life?

Unfortunately none.  But eventually I will.  Im very determined to go one day.  (Its hard when I live in Hawaii lol)

What NFL team do you dis-like the most and why?

UGH OMG THE RATBIRDS I DONT EVEN THINK I CAN EXPRESS HOW MUCH I DIS-LIKE THE RATBIRDS!! Sorry don’t mean to yell, but I dis-like them that much.  Just hearing about the ratbirds makes my blood boil and I dont even know why.  It was like I was born to hate them.  Then its the Pats I cant stand them for obvious reasons.  Cowgirls, Browns, and Bengals are on that list too and the cheeseheads just made it there.  But not as much as the Ratbirds ewww!! 

 What is your proudest piece of Steelers Gear or Memorabillia?

My 5x championship Terrible towel.  It was my very first terrible towel that I got to own.  I treasure it and treat it like its the American flag.

 If you could go to lunch with any Steeler, who would it be and why?

Ill take the whole darn team out to lunch l0l.
